News That Impacts More Than Just the Next Year or Two
The good news is that you can spent eternity with God. The bad news is that, if you reject God, He will not force you to be with Him. We all have disobeyed God (broken His laws). There is no question about that. We did the crime, so we must do the time, and that "time" is called the second death... the lake of fire.
But for the cowardly and unbelieving and abominable and murderers and immoral persons and drug users and idolaters and all liars, their part will be in the lake that burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death. - Revelation 21:8

Even the best of us, yes even Mr. Nice Guy, have disobeyed God. We are created in God's image and are to reflect the character of God (which is described by God's law). When we don't we misrepresent God and that's serious.
For all have sinned [disobeyed God] and fall short of the glory of God - Romans 3:23
For the wages of sin is death but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord - Romans 6:23
But God demonstrates his own love toward us in that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us- Romans 5:8
Therefore having been justified by faith we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ - Romans 5:1
